A few days ago, De Beers Group announced 12 sustainable development goals for the next ten years, including achieving gender equality within the group, supporting 10,000 female entrepreneurs in diamond-producing cooperative countries, and achieving group operations by 2030 Carbon neutral.
The twelve goals include four cores: leading the industry's ethical practices, cooperating to rejuvenate communities, protecting nature, and accelerating the realization of equal opportunities. They are part of the De Beers Group's "Eternal Creation" framework. This framework is an important sustainable development policy of the group's business strategy, and is committed to maximizing the positive impact of diamonds from the source of mining to the final sale. These goals are designed to inspire De Beers Group employees, partners and consumers around the world.
1. Leading the industry's ethical practice
By 2030, the De Beers Group will further expand the group’s “best practice principles” and break the limitations of the value chain, thereby raising industry standards; providing information about each diamond mined and sold by the group; and improving the lives of traditional miners Conditions provide flexible solutions.
2. Cooperation to revitalize the community

4. Accelerate the achievement of equality of opportunity
