Cartier has just launched the new season of the Écrou de Cartier series, and still uses the "hexagonal nut" which is full of contemporary art style as the design theme, allowing simple everyday elements to show a new vitality. The new work is set with long stepped diamonds inlaid with nuts, and flexibly rotates on the threaded bracelet wall and ring wall.
The "Écrou de Cartier" series was released in 2017, drawing inspiration from the screw-themed "Juste un Clou" series. The designer built the bracelet wall and ring wall into a convoluted stud structure, and screwed 5-6 hexagonal nuts on the top. The surface is polished with a fine mirror to improve the wearing comfort.
The new work can choose bracelets, rings and earrings. The most special thing is to decorate the nuts with bright diamonds. Each side of the hexagon is embedded with a stepped diamond, which is set by a channel setting structure. The claws are cleverly hidden and have an excellent overall effect. The inner side of the nut retains the three-dimensional thread, which freely rotates on the stud made of rose gold, and the diamond luster also shines with it.
